The Breweries & The Beers:
Fat Head’s was the most awarded brewery at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival, winning a total of 5 medals. This is the most prestigious awards ceremony for craft beer in the United States, featuring breweries and beers from all over the country.
Fat Head’s Sunshine Daydream (Session IPA) – 4.9% ABV. As refreshing as wading in a cold stream in the morning sunshine or a walk among the tall trees, this beer has big hop aromas and flavors of citrus, peach, orange and tropical fruit with a nice light malt backbone. Like a sweet coming, never fade away dream… because it’s deliciously real. This is a very drinkable session IPA. (Our fans call it an obsession IPA.) Peace, Love & Hoppiness!
Fat Head’s Bumble Berry (Honey Blueberry Ale) – 5.3% ABV. Brewed with fresh harvested spring honey stolen from some very angry bees (we have the welts to prove it) and infused with fresh blueberries. Creating a light, refreshing ale with a nice blueberry aroma, crackery malt flavors, a hint of sweetness and a refreshing blueberry finish. Get yo buzz on!
Since 2006 Jackie O’s has risen from humble beginnings to world class recognition. A deep respect for tradition and experimentation is the cornerstone to Jackie O’s wide array of beers.
Jackie O’s Mystic Mama (IPA) – 7.0% ABV. Our West-coast inspired India pale ale offers lots of flavor and aroma without over-powering the senses. A complex blend of 5 hops lend a firm bitterness to the notes of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine. A big dry hop addition of Citra and Simcoe hops give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor.
Jackie O’s Chomolungma (Honey Nut Brown Ale) – 6.5% ABV. This brown ale was brewed to commemorate the 2007 Lungevity Everest Expedition. The people of Tibet call Mt. Everest “Chomolungma,” and this exceptional ale carries on the spirit of the climb. Seven Malts, three hops, and 100 pounds of local wild flower honey give this ale an exceptional character. Baked muffins, dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, rich honey and earthy subtle hops caress the palate.
MadTree was the first craft brewery in Ohio to can their beer. MadTree is known for focusing more on creating great tasting beers rather than following traditional brewing style guidelines.
MadTree Happy Amber (Amber Ale) – 6.0% ABV. This dry-hopped ale combines caramel and biscuit malt flavors in happy equilibrium with late addition American hops. The approachable balance is intentional although the name is “hoppy accident.”
MadTree Lift (Kolsch) – 4.7% ABV. Whether taking a break from a hard day of work or just a huge day of hops, this crisp refreshing beer with a hint of orange will lift your spirits without lowering your expectations for what a craft beer should be.
Fall Seasonal Brews
Weihenstephaner Festbier – 5.8% ABV. A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Very traditional Oktoberfest brew that comes from the oldest brewery in the world. Prost!
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale – 10.0% ABV. As the ale is aged in fresh bourbon barrels, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla are imparted upon the brew and complement its spicier base. This robust, limited release seasonal makes for a flavorful sipping beer to slowly warm up with as the weather cools.
Shipyard Pumpkinhead – 4.5% ABV. To celebrate the fall season, we enhance the pumpkin flavor with a proprietary blend of spices including cinnamon and nutmeg. A more traditional example of a pumpkin ale.
Revolution Oktoberfest (German-Style Lager) – 5.7% ABV. This is an American take on an Oktoberfest. Classic German-style Oktoberfest Lager that goes down smooth with a pleasant, toasty, malt flavor. 100% German malts establish a supple and flavorful base for this traditional Oktoberfest lager. Brewed with a hop called Hallertau Gold, grown on only one farm in the whole of Bavaria, to deliver a hop profile which is at the same time both classic and unique.
Suggestion: Compare it with the traditional, German Weihenstephaner Festbier to taste the style difference between them.
Jackie O’s Ohio Pale Ale (Seasonal Pale Ale/IPA Hybrid) – 6.0% ABV. Known as OPA (Ohio Pale Ale) this evolving beer was originally brewed in our BrewPub. With 3 hop varieties these pale ale & IPA hybrids are highly crushable!
